    On August 3rd, 1981 around 12,000 people walked out on there jobs. President Ronald Regan said if that it was illegal to to do that and if they didn't report within two days they would be fired. Regan carried out his promise and fired thousands. As a result over 7000 flights got canceled. After that Robert Poli raised the wages of the people left by 10,000 dollars. Regan said the march was illegal. Then after that the judges said that the people would have to pay 1,000,000 dollars as a fine to continue their march.
